As you can see I've changed text colour and also used the stroke thing. I'm not entirely satisfied with it. My intention was to make the colour of text a reflection of the planet's colour so that it wouldn't seem so artificial. However it just doesn't fit in. Perhaps I ought not to have used the stroke function.
I agree, the stroke doesn't look great, I would go back to how you had it before but maybe increase the opacity a bit.
If you want the text to use a bit of the planets colour and texture, try using the text to cut a section out of the planet, or create a layer mask.

Used in 3D modelling to create the appearance of fog.
Indeed, now when those clouds are sort of less dense on the right it looks way better. Text is consequently more visible and to compensate for that I made the planet brighter so that it draws attention a bit more. Now I feel that without changing its style (it's supposed to "feel" like a wast space) there is not much I can do. And a ship in my opinion wouldn't fit. I'm not a fan of ship renders in signatures anyway.
Now I'll move on to a more "tech" looking signature. The kind that is filled with effects and contains a ship render or a blueprint and such. Just for the purpose of learning how to create such things.
Not disco related but I thought I would share it anyways.
Business card designed for my bro. Gonna get 'em printed this weekend.
