Completed in the closing stages of 812 A.S., Barcelona is a piecemeal station modelled after basic Zoner designs. By helping themselves to parts from the wreckage of Freeport 7, Corsair Transports brought the completion date of this station forward by almost two years. Barcelona's main functions are the production of small Fighter vessels and the cultivation of food for the Corsairs in the system, so that Omicron Omega can have a net surplus on productivity. Components and materials that are unsuitable for the fabrication of Capital Ships often go to this station to be used in the construction of strikecraft.

Defense of this station is comparatively somewhat lax, as the sheer remoteness of Omicron Omega means that unauthorized visitors to the station are rare. Barcelona was not built for war, and while it could withstand a decent assault for some time, the biodomes are a potential weak spot. Onboard security is tight, however, with the installation being financed by some of the more powerful Corsair families.
