ALG's Hazardous Materials Canisters are manufactured from a shell of lead that is internally coated with iridium. Since iridium has an extremely high melting point, is very resistant to corrosion, and is the second densest known element, it is ideal for uses that put it in contact with radioactive, corrosive, and toxic materials. ALG's HazMat Canisters are considered so secure that Interspace Commerce issues insurance policies with discounted premiums for toxic waste storage sites and transportation that use them exclusively.
