The 36th Soaring Ducks Squadron is amongst one of the smallest contingents in all of the Liberty Navy. The entireties of the squadron’s forces are stationed aboard the LNS “Feathered Pond”. The Pond is one of the Navy’s oldest dreadnoughts, and lacks anything other than fighter or bomber craft for protection.

The 36th is renown by the fact it’s overfilling with mostly rookie pilots. As a result it is a tough sale to most commanders and higher ups. The only notable officers aboard the Pond are Captain Christian Davis, and Commander Tamara Paige. The rest of the Pond’s assets are comprised almost completely of fresh entries from West Point.

Given the nature of this squadron’s history most of the ranking officers that end up as one of its members are most always volunteers. The rest are merely recruits who have absolutely zero say in their placement. Due to the lack of commanding officers or enough men deemed “competent” the 36th Squadron remains without any gunboats or cruisers currently under its control.
