Mark Wells was born on Freeport 4,790 A.S,to a poor family that made a living on whatever work they could find.When he was 14,the transport he was working on was boarded by pirates,who took most of the cargo and other odds and ends that they fancied,all while holding the crew at gunpoint.as soon as they left,the captain sent out a distress signal reporting that they had been boarded,and the pirates were heading for the Cortez Jump Hole.they were later caught,but escaped with ease,having been placed upon a non-standard independant transport.This event,having taken place at an age when the mind is more malleable,changed his view on life rather dramatically.Since then he has realized that because of his past experience,he feels that his calling is to ensure that no criminal,be he a pirate or not,will escape because of incompetence.To this end,he founded the Independant Prisoner Transportation,a faction dedicated to transporting prisoners and ensuring their secure incarceration.He currently leads the faction from the Prison Liner Watchful,so named because he has vowed to be so.
