Pilot carrying this ID is a Freelancer Researcher, who :

• Can trade. Cannot escort traders.
• Cannot participate in unlawful actions.
• Can fire on other ships only in selfdefense.
• Cannot use any transports with more than 2,000 cargo

Allowed ships: Fighters , Freighters, Transports, Gunboats, Corvo Cruiser

Carrying unmounted IDs in your ship, as well as not equipping an ID, is a serious crime. The Researcher ID does not make you immune to piracy or being fined by lawfuls. Pirates and lawfuls may choose at their discretion whether to exempt you.
