The SS-Endeavor is a Civilian made, Corvo Deep Space Explorer, it is a interesting design as it has the shields, power core, and hull strength of a Light Cruiser yet is equipped Gunboat turrets. This combination allows the Endeavor to fire it's weapons indefinitely if it ever comes under threat. The massive power core of the ship also allows the researchers aboard the ship to conduct experiments that would normally require facilities aboard a space station. This allows the crew to conduct research at the source.
Mission
The primary mission of the Endeavor and her crew is to explore and study the many beautiful and dangerous anomalies, as well as, new and alien technologies within Sirius. Our goal is to understand how many of these were created, what their effect is on technology and biologic organisms, and to achieve a better understanding of the universe around us. In addition to our purely scientific mission the Endeavor routinely responds to cries from help from across Sirius, whether it be from famine, war, or cataclysmic events our medical bays and staff are always standing by to render aid to anyone in need regardless of their affiliation. We have also partnered with the various research stations across Sirius to transport much needed research materials between them.
Captain
The Captain of the Endeavor is J. Scott a retired Liberty Battlecruiser Commander. Captain Scott served on the Nomad and Rheinland fronts during his illustrious military career. Captain Scott retired after realizing that war between he the houses would never end especially after the discovery of Gallia. He has since made it his mission to promote scientific discovery and humanitarian efforts in the hopes of bringing all of humanity together to work towards the common good.
Capabilities
The Endeavor is outfitted with a fully equipped Mobile Medical Unit, Reconnaissance Module, Research Corps, and Survey Team. In addition to these capabilities it hosts a variety of scientists, envoys, and ambassadors to assist in its scientific, humanitarian, and diplomatic missions. With a full compliment of crew the Endeavor still boasts 1000 units of cargo space which is more than enough to carry relief supplies or research materials. In the event that negotiations fail and combat with a hostile vessel is necessary the Endeavor is equipped with 4 Cerberus Gunboat Turrets and 1 Gunboat Razor capable of inflicting heavy damage to any attacking vessel. For defenses the Endeavor is equipped with a Cruiser Graviton Shield, Heavy Countermeasure Dropper, and Armor upgrades to help it survive most any encounter.
