Beginnings

Shinji was born on Planet Honshu, near a small farming town named Kyotango. The influence of the Farmers' Alliance there was strong, due to it being one of the most potent farming areas, still untouched by outside influences. Even so, most of the farmers there had a hard time trying to make sufficient profit and succeed on the Synth Foods-dominated food market and the Ishimaru family was not an exception.
