UPDATE NEEDED ABOUT THE SERVER ADMIN NAMES

--Looqas 00:37, 23 December 2008 (MST)

Done. --Blodo 06:10, 23 December 2008 (MST)

Is it? I can still see AC_Merc and Vero (he's leaving). --Looqas 10:24, 30 December 2008 (MST)

Restrict edits

I suggest that the RP Rules page should be restricted so no one except the Wiki admins can edit it.

I think I've already "protected" it. Is it not enough?

Igiss 13:08, 16 May 2008 (GMT)

My entry predates your protection of the page.

This means that you did exactly what I suggested, probably without knowing I even made the suggestion.

Update

The following things should be updated:

  • Part 2.1 should contain a list. Now it's only one long line.
  • Part 4.2 should be changed, and there should be a link.
  • The footnote belonging to 5.2 is messed up.
  • Part 6.1 does not contain the possibility to join player factions.
  • This page is a dead-end page. Links should be added (and from reading it, I think there are easily 30 things that should be linked).

Ease of use

I suggest sub-rules get their own named anchors.

Example: == 6.0 == === 6.1 ===

etc.

This will give the table of contents at the top immediate access to the individual rules. Just a suggestion.

Auto Update?

Blodo, with the new parser functions is it possible to auto-update these wiki rules pages, with the versions on the Disco pages? The disco pages would (relatively) never change, so I would imagine that we can bring parts or whole sections of posts in from disco. Perhaps with a yes/no check, everytime these pages are accessed they could auto-update, instead of every day or something.

This way every time Igiss or another Admin modifies the Disco Rules, these would also stay up to date.
