Talk:Guard Systems
New Discussion
This information is already on the Player Faction page in a format that is just as easy to read and actually updated once in a blue moon. In its current form, this page serves no purpose other than to confuse. I recommend we either delete it or re-purpose it, possibly just to link all faction guard systems- except that there are roughly four guard systems that have not yet been purchased by a player faction. I can go check the exact number if anyone cares, but I believe its the police factions (other than the LPI-) and possibly the Unioners. So, since almost all the information that would be on this page is already on the Player Faction page, I suggest we delete this page and remove the link from the main page.

Old Discussion
Wouldn't it be better to have the information about who controls which systems on the Faction pages?

Yes, but it should be available on this page as well, in my opinion. Besides, is it Golden Chrysanthemum or Chrysanthemums (with an "s" at the end)? Since Kuraine wrote it without the "s" here but with the "s" in Kusari Player Factions. --Sleipnir 18:36, 13 May 2008 (GMT)
I don't like redundant information normally, but if you think it's better...
About GC: if you are unsure, don't change it, someone who is sure (preferrably one from GC) will correct it.
I see what you mean with "redundant". Still, this page supplies the reader with a list of all guard systems, gathered on one page. If a reader is selectively searching for the guard systems in general, in a "where-should-I-not-go"-way, this page will be way more useful to him than browsing through all faction pages.

You have a point there. Just let the page be.
Probably we should also put up a map with ALL systems/bases/jump gates/etc., clickable, with a page for each system/base/etc.?

That would create a lot of arguments and people getting pissed off I think..

I don't see how this would make people pissed, but Igiss already stated that he does not want to have a map in here. This only means that maps will be hosted somewhere else, but it can be seen as a policy.

I added links to systems. But one thing that caught my eye is that I recall seeing a thread in the forums where Hideyoshi's Guard would be shutdown. Anyone can confirm this? Looqas 12:04, 10 September 2008 (GMT)
Another thing. Southern Alliance is dead, right? I think this list needs a complete update. --Looqas 23:58, 20 October 2008 (MDT)
