Theck and Thock Octombre are twins. They are 17 years old and were born on the 7th of Octobre in the medical ward of Freeport 4, just ten minutes in between them. They currently have shaven blonde hair and they always will have big blue eyes, much to delight of all their lady freinds. They have a very humorous personality, and often speak in unison. Some say they are semi-telepathic, some say they're just lucky, and some say they are funny, some say they are not. After being born the Octombre family moved to Manchester. They lived on Sheffield Station as their father worked at BPA Newgate. Unfortunately, during one of the prisoners many riots, Theck and Thock's father was stabbed. Leaving them with a single parent, and the single parent with her hands full.
Several years later, when the twins were ten years old (811 A.S.) they discovered that when they were near enough to eachother, they could somehow feel what the other was thinking, not as clear as talking, but they could sense the emotion of their counterpart. Theck, being the smarter of the two, decided that they should refine this skill, and arranged lessons for them both. A year on, when they were eleven, (812 A.S.) the two decided that they were ready for their first challenge. They went to one of the bars on Sheffield, and asked the Manager if they could perform. After explaining their act to the owner, he finally came to the decision that they could perform once, and if the bounty hunters and prison guards who frequented the bar liked it, they could perform again. So, that night they performed in the bar, showing the world, or a tiny percentage of it, their unique twin mind reading, and despite some doubt in the crowd, overall they liked what the twins did. So the twins often went back to perform at that bar, and also to perform at many others arround the station.
Soon they made their performances inter-station and recorded one act to be sent of to Birmingham Station. They got positive feedback, and also a strange message from one BMM miner. This piece of fan mail said that what the twins had was a rare gift, a unique gift. That they should not take it for granted. Taking this message to heart, the twins decided that thye were blessed. And they even made up a kind of religion for just the two of them. Their god was Thack, a figment of Theck and Thock put together. They made their lifes decision on whatever Thack told them. And they listened to Thack by linking minds. It was all very complicated to everyone. But it was crystal clear to them.
