Referred to as the "Burrito cat," or "Sand" by close friends, Sand_Spider is a semi-experienced pilot, whose favorite vessel is known as the Moldy Crow. In the past, Sand has had close relations to Discovery legends such as zapp, a member who excels both in RP, and in space combat, and Treewyrm (somewhat..), who jump-started the community-wide interest in the mysterious Nomads.

History

Sand_Spider, or Riley, as is his real name, has been in some of the most memorable Official Discovery RP server factions of all time. These include the Xeno Alliance, the infamous NovaPG, an invite-only faction, and even the Keepers, of which is a Nomad faction.

Of those with close relations to him, Sand_Spider was an enjoyful member to have around, who was fun to hang with, easygoing, and was able to take orders without question. In some situations, he was able to become the group leader until someone with higher authority arrived.

How he came to the Discovery community

This story is actually quite interesting.. So I shall tell it first-person.

I was browsing around for different Freelancer mods, be they small, fun type mods such as a ship pack, or something as big as an entire "expansion," if you will. I stumbled upon a mod called "Discovery." Looking at a few of the mod's pictures, I found out that (at least, I thought..), there was planet Earth in the mod. "Sweet!" I thought, downloading the mod.

Little did I know what I was getting myself into...
