That's completely true, and I'd even consider making a page for every single weapon. It would probably depend on how much information there is about each weapon.

Please note that there are links to the (not yet created) pages class 4 weapons, class 6 weapons, class 4 turrets and such, probably from the ships pages. I think that these would be more useful than one massive page including each weapon, each shield, etc.

I would suggest using both individual pages (for later when we can put pictures up - if we want to go to that detail - of the weps, and the gun effects) and also the class 4 weapons pages. Very much like the Fighters page, for example, yes. The Ship Equipment page should be split up for this.

Content suggestion

I suggest removing the weapons that are currently on the page and just make it a big link-list to the weapon-by-class pages (class 4 weapons, class 6 weapons, class 4 turrets etc.). Then we can add pages like light fighter shields, heavy fighter shields, transport shields and so on. If nobody objects, I'll do that somewhen next week.

1.) I suggest creating a new link on the main page, called "Weapons" and putting all weapons onto that new page.

2.) Let's create a new category "Ship Equipment" and put all equipment into it (Shields, Thrusters, Scanners, etc.), so weapons and equipment are seperated on two small pages instead of the current one which is really long.

3.) We should remove the "Weapons will be sorted by:" column, because they are already sorted by this criteria on each weapon page.

1. If we put all guns on one page it'll be an extremely long page. Better to leave them like currently separated I think, however this whole area does need a rehash. It works for the moment. Lets brainstorm on how to make it better. Although I can see what you mean, I'm hesitant to put it all in one page. We could try it on a test page to see if it is a good thing...

2. Same thing. I think they are better being separated from each other like that. This way people can search for a specific item/equipment without seeing all the other irrelevant info.

Front guns

We should add a page with only front guns from cruisers and GBs in one category, for now, they are in multiple different categories in the same classes than simple fighter guns which I think make no sense "Skatepro0 22:12, 30 July 2009 (MDT)"
