:I agree with this. I think we should just put them into their classes instead of splitting the ships according to Stock and Disco. So what we'll end up with is, a list of Light fighters, Heavy fighters, Very heavy fighters, and no Stock or Disco. I'm willing to do this myself. One other thing is we have a double up of some of the fighters, (Talon, Sabre, Eagle are in both Stock lists and Disco lists. I was going to take them out of the Disco list, and then thought why dont we just merge the two lists.) [[User:Chovynz|Chovynz]] 07:19, 2 August 2008 (GMT) | :I agree with this. Get rid of Pre-Disco Stats?
It seems to me that this'll just confuse people if we keep on mixing everything, so I propose we get rid of Pre-Disco stuff altogether (i.e. no separating into stock and Disco-added fighters). That's what the Freelancer wiki is for, but this isn't for the vanilla game, so I don't see a reason to have those stats. What're your opinions on this? F15pilotX 14:20 GMT, 29 May 2008
- I agree with this. I was going to take them out of the Disco list, and then thought why dont we just merge the two lists.) Chovynz 07:19, 2 August 2008 (GMT)
Stock Vs Discovery
I've been thinking. This is a wiki for Discovery mod right? Anyone who comes here is usually looking for Disco info. So why are we putting Vanilla info in? As an example; it doesn't make sense to me to have Defender AND Defender (original) on this wiki. My feeling is stick with Disco stuff for the majority, as there is a tonne of stuff to put up just with that. We are doubling our work if we want to put the Vanilla variants up also. :(

Having vanilla info is just an extra. But it's nice to have it, to compare the changes Discovery has made to them.

Formatting
We need to have the ship lists formatted the same way. Currently Freighters is using "Pre-Discovery" while Fighters is using "Stock Fighters". "Pre-Disco" tells me that they are the original ones and shouldn't be in this list. I suggest that these lists are only for the Discovery ones (stock and new). One example of why I say this; Rhino in Vanilla costs around 8,000 whereas in Disco they cost around 43,000 and are sold in different places. Transports doesnt even have any pre-Disco/Stock.
Other ship lists.

I agree with this. www.battleclinic.com handles Vanilla brilliantly, if people want stuff from vanilla point them there.

Add a weapon class column?
If someone thinks this is a good idea and is willing to add it, go ahead.
The above, unsigned entry was made by User:Chovynz.
I like it this way, to be honest.

Links & Individual Fighter Pages
I've linked all the ships to their respective pages, whether those pages exist or not, and set up the pages for all Disco VHFs, the Executioner, and a good chunk of the MK II LFs.

Vanilla stats (and Crusader)
Hello!
Crusader was left out in the stock ships, so I added it. I wrote the Disco stats in, and then realized vanilla stats are used there... So now the Crusader has "wrong" stats... I don't know the vanilla stats, so I can't repair it.
But I also don't understand why the vanilla stats are used there instead of the discovery stats? Because stats of the modified ships are nowhere in the article. I would understand it if the modified ships were somewhere else on the page... still, I am new on the wiki, so I don't really know your intentions with the page. (Edit (2nd): it seems just several ships have vanilla stats in the table)
