As The Order attempted to spread its mission and influence across Sirius in the wake of the spreading menance of The Wilde, it became clear to its commanders and ship engineers that an agile scout craft was needed for reconnaisance and stealthy infiltration missions. The Onuris Light Fighter is capable of conducting surveillance in hostile territory with a low risk of detection to its pilot, but carries enough firepower and combat equipment to make it capable of either defending itself or providing support to heavier fighters in combat. The Onuris has proven to be an especially potent weapon against Nomad bombers, and can harass Nomad Morphs with good effect.
