This derelict Dreadnought was found by the LPI when they bought the Illinois system. Evidence indicates that it was lured into Illinois and attacked by a pirate fleet, which disabled life support and comm systems, then let it drift. When the LPI sent teams aboard, the body count was staggering, as everyone had died of suffocation. Dragged to the Colorado jump hole by numerous Heavy Lifters and renamed the "McNeil Island", the Dreadnought has been repaired. The engines, however, were so badly crippled that it would have taken several months in Norfolk to repair. Since then, it has served as the major deterrent for any incursion by outside forces, and its mighty guns keep all non-LPI ships from intruding.
