Orbital Spa and Cruise boasts of having a fleet of the most luxurious vessels available, but in order to maintain that image it must periodically decommission its existing liners to make way for new ships. Rather than scrapping ships that still have substantial working life left in them, OSC sells them on the open market. While its early life is dedicated to luxury travel, most of a Liner's productive life is spent on less glamorous occupations.

House governments often purchase liners for use as prisoner transports, troop transports, or even fleet support ships for transporting supplies and other logistics purposes. Passenger Liners are also used by corporations and Houses for regional passenger transportation. The facilities on Liners are also ideal for long term scientific expeditions because there is more than adequate space on the passenger decks for scientific equipment, and the ship's substantial life support capabilities are designed for large crews, so that smaller scientific teams using the vessels do not require frequent resupply.

* This ship is too large to use docking bays, it must use mooring points.

{{Review|[[Chad Jones]]|The first thing that strikes you with a prison liner is its appearance. Like the Luxury Liner it has a similar design but with a few upgraded features. It can be said that the prison liner doesn't look as attractive as the Luxury Liner, but it was never meant to be a ship of luxury. The long dark chassis does emanate an eerie grimness from inside and its single engine gives out a long droning sound that would make you think of the thousands of cells inside. Like the [[Repair Ship]] in this category the Prison Liner is very specific to its purpose and faction(s). Firstly, it's a prison, so anything to do with prisoners is fine. ‘Transferring’ (Trading) prisoners from planets or prisons to prison stations are acceptable or just remaining stationary as a prison station is also acceptable. But as you can imagine both of these can get extremely boring from time to time and you end up longing for a more exciting vessel. Eventually your Prison will end up hardly used or deleted by the A.D.M.I.N.S. Money wasted, time wasted, blood sweat, tears and all that jazz, wasted.

Don't get me wrong this ship can be a bundle of fun once you get into the mood for some decent grind work, but you tend to find that nobody takes notice of prison liners much. 127 million credits is a lot to ask for something you’re probably not going to end up spending even 20% of your time on. But if you are interested in the prisoner trade and want to earn money from it then you should know that it does come with a hefty hold and defense system. 3300 cells (Units) and nine [[Class 7 Turrets]] as well as a huge 600 nanobot/battery capacity for pirates that try and break out some old comrades.|4.85}}

{{Review|L. Kali|This Liner is the worst of all. The liner has a smaller power core, less turrets and insufficient cargo space compared to other liners. With its 3300 cargo capacity and being sold on the [[Zoner]] world [[Planet Gran Canaria]], anyone is able to buy this ship. The 11 turrets are good enough to fight fighters and other transports and liners but the liner will not win against bomber, gunboat or better ships. Flying this ship is bit difficult, because it handles like a battleship. All in all is this ship a good transport, but it is very expensive.|4.86}}

{{Review|[[The Gaian Underloch|<nowiki>[U]</nowiki>]]-[[User:Ipuvaepe#Discovery Freelancer RP 24/7 Official Faction Characters|Henry.T.Farnsworth]]|While having both less armor and less powercore than its [[Bretonia Royal Cruise Liner|Bretonian]] and [[Shukensha|Kusari]] equivalents, these disadvantages are hugely overshadowed by its very low cost, half to a quarter its equivalents.  At only 3300 cargo, nearly every [[ID]] is capable of utilizing it.  While some attempt to smear it by featuring its  perceived lack of survivability against bombers and gunboats, one must remember that this is the case with every transport and liner.  This ship will only disappoint you if you use it improperly.|4.86}}
