"Hmm...what can I tell ya 'bout myself? Well, as you probably already know, I've made me quite a name as mercenary and bounty hunter. I ain't one of these Guild sissies though - naw, I used to be completely independent 'till some recent events, but we'll talk about them later.

Neither her father nor her mother would describe her as even remotely lovable - having her first problems with the law barely 12 years after her birth, she caused them nothing but trouble, and although she was smart enough to ensure there never was any solid proof pointing at her about her misdeeds, everybody knew who was responsible for the demolished hovercars, sprayed walls and burned down parks in her block. After she got busted for organizing and running a large Cardamine smuggling ring on New London, her parents promptly disowned her and kicked her out.
My career has it's roots in Liberty. Though I've been born in Bretonia, my parents decided to move to Liberty. Bad choice. They - both trader folks, he was the Cap'n of a small freighter, she the communications operator - got themselves killed by some dirty Rogue SOBs. Luckily, when that happened, I already was old enough to survive on my own. Sure, spending 3 years on the streets of Manhattan city ain't nice, especially not for a pretty girl like me, but it also thought me a lot of skills I'd find useful as a hunter of humans. I quickly got trapped in a world of crime - but frankly said, the only thing I regret about my early life is that I decided to join the Navy when I got 19. Thought it would be a nice way to get me out of the mess I was in, so I got myself a forged College certificate and took some flying lessons from a Junker, determined to become a soldier, a fighter jock.

Turns out, things weren't as awesome as I've expected them to be. The ranks of the Navy were just as corrupt as the undercity, the only difference was that everything was hidden under a thin veil of lies. I played along, and somehow slept me up to the position of Captain, but one day, I just couldn't stand it anymore, so I retired and started working in the "private sector".

Thieving together enough to buy herself a small space shuttle, Ivory set course to Liberty, hoping Manhattan to be a better place to conduct her less-than-legal business. Soon, she found herself being approached by the Liberty Rogues, offering her a "partnership" - but being the independent-minded girl that she is, she dealt with the unfortunate Rogue businessman in a rather violent fashion, and made an enemy more powerful than she could handle. Soon again, she would find herself in the hands of the police, this time for "18 counts of self-defense with a fully automatic firearm".
After a couple of years, the Tau Wars broke out, and when the damn Northeners were knocking on Bret'nia's doorstep, I decided to give the military a chance again, and signed up as a contractor (read: merc). Boy, did I wreak some havoc in the Taus and later, down on Leeds, heh. Got me some Splitters from the BAF as well, as reward, and equipped my nice 'ol Raven's Talon with them. It's quite a killing machine now, tehee.

Anyways, after my Bretonia tour was over (hey, I know the war ain't over yet - but I need my independence, heh), I started bounty hunting again. Hey, it's a great job, even though most of it is about killing time (only 'bout 10% of my time is actual killing time). I've also joined and left quite a couple of private military contractors and the like since, though they never managed to keep me for long. Currently, I'm with a bunch of guys called "the Reavers". They actually seem a quite nice bunch of people - competent, interesting personalities, not just some rookies with too much cash to spend on a figurehead or personal instructor. I think I might actually stay here for some time. Regardless, though - should you ever meet me, keep your eyes open and your hand on your gun...who knows, I might be coming for you, tehee."

Marshall is all her parents wanted her *not* to become. She drinks, smokes and loves her daily dose of Cardamine just as much as she loves blowing stuff up - generally, a rather irresponsible person. There's only one thing you can rely on when dealing with her - as long as you pay her and her assignment includes murder, robbery or just causing general mischief, she'll get the job done.

Striking a deal with the LPI she was sentenced to serving 5 years in a Liberty Marine Corps penal battalion instead of going to prison for the rest of her life, even though it was clear she'd make an escape as soon as possible with all the military gear she could carry. To everybody's surprise, she actually staid in the Corps for a year and a half and got promoted thrice before her inevitable departure (leaving behind a heartbroken quartermaster and an empty armory). Again, she was free to pursue interests unhealthy to those around her.

Eventually, Ivory somehow got herself into the Mercenary business, and quickly became attached to the thrill of it's lifestyle. As in everything that involved shady business and violence, she was brilliantly successful and soon a number of PMCs became interested in employing her. Finding the Reaver Corporation a useful ally on her quest to spread mayhem and murder, she promptly accepted their offer.

I can only sign the previous poster's statement. I've fought along her down on Leeds, she was one of our..."civilian contractors". She used to scout ahead for our unit. We rarely got into any combat, but that's not because there weren't any slants in our sector - it's because she already had killed all of them before we arrived.
