When the Bounty Hunters Guild focused its capital fleet on the Omicron systems, Order needed a bomber that was both capable of fending off these attackers and efficiently engineered due to the Order's limited resources. The Sekhmet represents the pinnacle of Order engineering and allows the Order to deal heavy damage to attacking capital ships at minimal risk.
