Ellesmere is a system just a Jump Hole away from the Alaska and Qita systems.
Ellesmere is part of Liberty space, and is owned by the Liberty Security Force. The system is off-limits to non-military personnel.

The Barbeau Ice Field is composed of old ice that has been heavily corrupted by space dust over millions of years. It is an extremely old and dangerous area, with visibility down to a minimum within the field.
