Though being an organization possessing awe inspiring means of destruction, the Order's primary purpose has always been one of vigilance. Working under the philosophy that the best war that is won before it begins, the Resheph was commissioned.
Possessing scanning technology of dizzying sophistication, rumored to be able to create tunnels through which distant stars can be scanned in real time, in a frame capable of incredible feats of stealth with evasive technology capable of ferrying it safely from the grimmest encounters.

Review
The Resheph is a good example of what a cruiser ought to be -- or, at least, what a cruiser ought to be used for. Falling in the middleweight-class of cruisers, its agility reflects its size: better than most, worse than a few. In terms of firepower, only three other vessels in its class have the same or a fewer number of hardpoints. With that said, if you want to be successful in the rough Omicrons, you'll need to specialize: For anti-fighter operations, rapid-firing turrets should be mounted on slots 2-7; saving the forward-only slot 1 for something heavier and the aft-only slot 8 for a utilitarian weapon (ie: missiles). For anti-capital ship ops, you can't go wrong with double-pulse cannons somewhere staggered in slots 2-7 and either Order or Cerebus turrets filling the rest. Slot 1 is best served with a light mortar, and again, slot 8 ought to be something you plan on firing backwards. Resheph's powercore is well enough to support such a loadout, if used intelligently. The slot 1 and slot 8 hardpoints are important to understand if you want to be effective at the controls of the Resheph. Both are located on the bow of the ship. 1 is on top; 8 is along the bottom. Though both enjoy a fairly wide angle sweep, they do not overlap. The implication here is that you can only use one at a time. If you choose to mount a mortar on 1, a pulse cannon on 8 will not help you. In any case, the best use of the Resheph is found beyond its combat and navigational capabilities. If it's not too obvious, this cruiser has about a dozen intimidating-looking antennae jutting from its core. Its technical appearance lends itself extremely well as a platform for excellent RP. Some creative uses have included signal-jamming (4 CM units fired at once makes this even more believable), long-range probe launching (using missile systems), and some old-fashioned Order exploration and science. If you're buying this ship only to fight, you're missing out on one of the best opportunities in the game.
