I was born into a rich family, both of my parents worked on the Cambridge research station. My Dad was a scientist, working on classified research deep within the station. My mother was one of the many doctors on board, but stopped working full time when she fell pregnant, and brought a house on the surface of Cambridge in time for me birth. While my mothers family descend from the original colonists of Cambridge, my dads mum was one of the original Mollys, she left Dublin in order to find a good life for her son. Alot of the family on my dads side of the family also moved too Leeds, and have been trapped on the surface since the KNF arrived.
Because of my parents work a spent most the time being looked after by a nanny, until her families departure to Pennsylvania in 812. When the war with Kusari broke out in 814, my mother, much against my fathers wishes sent me too Pennsylvania to live my old nannies family. They were very poor, the only reason they allowed me too stay was because their helium mining business was failing, and my mother offered them a lot of money. The father of the family fell ill in late 814, and I was forced into the seat of his CSV, it's because of this I learnt to fly. At the end of silver rush, the families mother, my old nanny was involved in a mining accident, and died a few weeks afterwards in care. With nothing left, I signed up to the Liberty Navy.
The Liberty navy was horrid, the way they acted, the attitude of the other cadets, I left after only a couple of weeks of training, I'd much rather have been in the BAF, were my mother hoped I'd one day end up. I used a small amount of cash I'd saved up during the Silver Rush, and brought a Dromedary and a freelancers ID. I found two of my old friends on Allentown. Jake Night, an arrogant kid, who ran away from home his home on Cambridge because his parents smothered him, he hates them more giving him so much, he's weird like that. At this time he was just pot head now, stuck on Synth weed. While I've got nothing against people that smoke it themselves, there's a limit, and he crossed it. Kara Wall, no kid in Liberty has had a harder background then her, and turned out so well. Her Dad left or died before she could remember anything about him, her mother wouldn't say what happened. She moved from Pittsburgh to Erie with her mother and her mums new boyfriend when she was 8. Her mothers boyfriend was an abusive drunk, who smacked both Kara and her mother. When Kara was 15 she hit him back, and threw him out. He was never seen again. Kara's older sister, Cassie who looked after me when I lived on Erie vanished without a trace. Karas mum devolved a Cardamine addiction, and Blamed Kara for everything. She died two years later, and Kara moved too Allentown.
We started off as exploring trying to find everything in Sirius, an obviously impossible job but the knowledge we learnt would serve then well in the days too come. We afforded fuel and supplies by doing odd jobs for people here and there that we met across the way, sometimes it would be to hunt down some inexperienced pilots, some times we'd be moving goods. The legality of these jobs fluctuated with the region of space we were in, the worst jobs we ever did was the moving of cardimine for the Outcasts.
I remember our first visit too the Omicrons, and our first encounter with the Order.
