Despite large deposits of cobalt and silver discovered in the planet's crust during the initial surveys by the IMG many years ago, due to the anarchic and unstable state of the Omega-15 system, no attempt has ever been made yet to extract the materials, although with recent stationing of Battleship Schwerin in the orbit, it may only be a matter of time before Dauman Heavy Construction or Kruger Minerals make an attempt.
