A new endeavor of the Colonial Republic, Hades station was constructed in a strategic location, commanding the vicinity of the jumphole connecting Tau-23 and Tau-44 in an effort to strengthen the Colonial grasp on the region. Completed shortly before the GRN invasion, the Hades is used as the 44th Task Force's secondary base ship that oversees all operations within Tau-23 and also as a staging base to some of the CMI personnel that works on the Niobium fields. It is mostly inhabited by stationed Fleet personnel, as well as the occasional adventurers.
