Planet Fuere is a massive gas giant, still growing in diameter as it draws in gases from the surrounding Flare Nebula. The hot gases contract, causing massive electrostatic discharges in the lower atmosphere of the planet. Some of the products from these reactions near the planet core drift back up to the upper atmospheres. Ships from the orbiting Manatum station frequently collect these gases, which are then converted into a fuel source at Manatum.
