A volcanic world by nature where day and night each last almost as long as a whole year on Planet Manhattan, Reston is an unhospitable planet of no strategic value. With surface temperatures ranging from -118 to 243 Celsius and no resources or wildlife present, it has been deemed unsuitable for terraforming and merely serves as a landmark in the Virginia system. It has been nicknamed "Planet Hell" by pilots of the Liberty Navy, thanks to the firestorms ravaging its surface on the side exposed to the nearby star. There are also rumors of top-secret subterranean installations going around, however those can be dismissed as lies and slander, attributed to Reston's extremely hostile nature.
