Orbiting the planet Nauru in the Omicron Delta system, Yaren Base is one of the Corsairs' most distant outposts. Built in 812 A.S. to better facilitate the construction of planet-side mining camps and research installations, Yaren Base has since been expanded to include ship repair and refuelling capabilities, as well as a few long term habitat modules. Most of the Iridium mined on Nauru gets transported up to Yaren and then onto Freeport 11, where the Zoners ship it off to Evora Shipyard, Tripoli Shipyard and even into the main Sirius Houses.
Due to constant sieges and raids by The Core who are trying to expand across Omicron Delta, the Corsairs have had to upgrade Yaren to include several advanced weapon systems and several new fighter wings from the Corsair navy. Since The Core expansion onto Planet Nauru, Yaren is the Corsairs last hold on the planet. But for how long?
