Specifically redesigned and upgraded to survive harsher environments than its predecessor, and to act as a heavier support role for convoys, the Mark II has become one of the most popular escort vessels amongst Zoner pilots within a very short time.

Osprey Mark II, unlike the original Osprey design or the Kingfisher, no longer relies on manoeuvrability or a slim profile, and instead provides a heavier power core, increased fire power, and reinforced hull plating which despite resulting in a bulkier design has considerably enhanced the survivability of the vessel compared to its older models.
