Description
The Temporary Autonomous Zoners are a group of esoteric Zoners who believe that the ancient Goddess Eris is alive and well in the Sirius Sector. The "TAZ" have embraced the religion of Discordianism as outlined in their Sacred Holy Tome, the "Principia Discordia".
The "TAZ" are also followers of the ancient Terran prophet Hakim Bey, who coined the term "Temporary Autonomous Zone", and they devoutly follow Bey's philosophy of Ontological Anarchy.

The TAZ Faction is the evolution of several previous Discordian Factions which have inhabited the Sirius Sector for several years (real time) now.
An itinerant miner named "Lightfoot" was first visited by the Goddess Eris while mining gold in Dublin. His story can be found here: THIS IS YOUR GODDESS SPEAKING!
Lightfoot was directed to create the Erisian Liberation Front to balance the Sacred Chao in the Sirius Sector: Eris Wants You!, Join the E.L.F.!! See the Fnords!!
Lightfoot was also directed by Eris to assume the name "Malaclypse 666". The E.L.F. became Lane Hackers, and proceeded to raise Podge throughout Sirius:
