A hollow structure made of an unknown material. Nomad Hives similar to this can be found in dangerously remote or far-flung locations around the sector, each sharing the same disk-like shape and containing a variety of smaller chambers. Unlike other hives, the mysterious font of energy that usually resides in its core seems absent or otherwise greatly diminished.

This hive in particular is believed to be the first of its kind discovered within the fringes of Sirius, scans have indicated that its construction predates Humanity’s arrival in the sector by several thousands of years. However, as no active hive has ever been recorded there is speculation to the true function of these structures. Xenoarcheologists continue to debate if Nomad Hives serve any purpose other than to provide shelter and respite for the alien creatures.

Recently reactivated, anyone unfortunate enough to stumble upon this hive’s forgotten hiding place is likely never be heard from again.
