This ship is constructed by Borderworlds Exports for use by Bretonian firms when large amounts of cargo need serious protection. It follows the Bretonian tradition of relying on heavy armour and powerful armaments to defend itself, as opposed to any sort of finesse or delicate handling. This works extremely well, its vast size allowing for a generous cargo hold as well as a power core and armor suite that is nothing short of terrifying for those pirates that may think of robbing it.
The Shire is used on all major trade routes frequented by Bretonian corporations, not being so common on the minor ones as other, lighter, vessels due to it developing a reputation for being somewhat awkward and clumsy in asteroid fields. However, in space which is easier to navigate, this container transport is seen as one of the most difficult to attack in all Sirius.

Review
Shire is one heck of a ship. It's much better looking then Akegata, More popular too, as I have seen been used by both Bretonian and Liberty corporations alike. The cargo hold is much smaller compared to the bigger trains and tankers, but it compensates by having 12 guns and a 90k power core to go along with it. Because of that, Shire and Akegata are the the most defended transport available in the marked today. Able to fire all guns forwards, backwards, and even at some angles to sides it can quite easily defend itself from pirates. It should be equipped with Transport Turrets type 1,3,4, as type 2 are to slow to counter Fighters and bombers. My Verdict is once you get your first 100 millions, you should consider getting Shire and sticking with it until you can get an Stork, or just buying it and sticking with it like I did.
A little Edit: Titanic is another alternative to Shire, with more cargo, but less guns and a smaller power core. Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination Review by Gurk1s

- This ship is too large to use docking bays, it must use mooring points.
- WARNING: This ship is highly susceptible to Cruise Disruptors of all types. NPCs from all over Sirius will have no problem repeatedly disrupting your attempts to cruise away, forcing you to deal with them at every encounter. You cannot simply ignore the NPC Cruise Disruptors like you can in a Train and many of the other large transports. However, destroying your assailants shouln't be a problem since you have the same amount of turrets as many battleships, dreadnoughts, and cruisers.
