According to information that the Corsairs provide, Alcudia is a shipping center of the Omicron Lambda system, mostly used for trade and for supplying local Corsair patrols. Unofficially, it is known that the station is a highly secured facility that was built to supplement Tramuntana Research Depot, a classified station the location of which remains unknown to date. It is likely that Alcudia was built circa 810 A.S., when Lambda was out of reach for most Sirius ships. Its first purpose was to support the construction site of Tramuntana, a station that is for some reason of critical importance to the Corsairs.
