Ezreal Matsumoto is a Cryer Pharmaceuticals fighter pilot.

Early Life

Ezreal Matsumoto was born on Planet New Tokyo in the year 780 A.S. to Admiral Hatori Matsumoto and Akira Matsumoto.. His father was a renowned fighter pilot in the Kusari Naval Forces and his mother owned a bakery. Ezreal's father mysteriously dissapeared while in the Kepler system around 784 A.S., when Ezreal was four years old.

After his fathers death, Ezreal was adopted by a close family friend, Boss Tanaka. Boss Tanaka was the leader of a large criminal syndicate in Kusari. Tanaka raised Ezreal to become a soldier in his army. He demonstrated to Ezreal the way of the blade, what he called "the noble weapon", and gifted Ezreal with a handmade Katana.

Ezreal quickly picked up the art of the blade, and was a fierce child soldier among Tanaka's syndicate. Due to his small size, Ezreal could easily kill a target by method of stealth, and was the number one hitman in New Tokyo by the age of nine. Word spread of his skill, all the way up to the darkest parts of Kusari Government, and in late 790 A.S., Ezreal was kidnapped by a covert branch of the Kusari military.

Cybernetic Experimentation

Ezreal was forced to undergo heavy cybernetic experimentation by the Kusari military, in hopes of creating the "perfect soldier". An extreme concentration of nanomachines were implanted into Ezreal's cerebral cortex. These nanomachines were able to manipulate his memory via synapse stimulation, and were used to alter his personality into an even more aggressive killer. His head was severed from his body and installed onto a cyborg exoskeleton. All of Ezreal's human organs were removed, and his heart was replaced with a carbonate fuel cell that pumps biotic nano-repair paste throughout his body, codenamed "white blood". While blood enhanced Ezreal's reflexes, strength, and regeneration. His optical nerves and retina were damaged in the process of dailyzing this blood and had to be replaced with compound image sensor prosthetics. Ezreal's new body was extremely durable, capable of surviving falls large enough to leave an impact crater.

Cryer Pharmaceuticals

Cryer explained to Ezreal the circumstances of his retrieval and hospitalization. Apparently, a junior researcher discovered his body en route to Sigma-17. The Cryer pilot reluctantly beamed Ezreal to his ship, presuming his body to be lifeless. He was taken to Atka Research Station and resuscitated. Upon discovery of Ezreals cardamine addiction, a soup of drugs were administered. Unfortunately, his white blood rejected almost every concoction.
