On a daily patrol in Kyushu system, Aina spotted a Colonial Transport. She attacked that transport but the escort engaged her. While the transport managed to escape, she was fighting the Colonial [[Nyx]]. She didn't know but in the other ship was her fiancé, Mao Rinkamo that returned to his colonials after loosing her. Both pilots were on the same level and both had the same tactics and skills. A well placed mine took out Mao's Nyx but also destroyed Aina's [[Blossom]]. Brief biography
Early days
Aina Masami, the second daughter of Naoki Masami, an important businessman, member of Samura, was born on planet New Tokyo. As a child, Aina showed a real talent in chemistry and her father decided to send her to a very restrictive school. She spent all her childhood in the school that she named "a prison with books instead of bars and teachers instead of guardians". At the age of 14, her father is murdered. The authorities arrested a woman that they believed to be part of the Golden Chrysanthemums organization. Her name was Yin Zhen and she was sentenced to death. Aina was sent home until the kusarian authorities would find another family for her.
Chrysanthemums
Aina was contacted by the sisterhood and she agreed to join and help them rescue Yin. The operation was a high success and Aina became a trusted member of the Chrysanthemums. A strong friendship started between the her and the one she saved, Yin. The two girls started to hit the Samura traders with their Orchid and they were doing great. Their favorite hunting area was the Kyushu system. Unfortunately, such a success in the world of pirates can't remain unnoticed and soon, the two girls were hunted by bounty hunters, mercenaries and kusarian authorities. They decided to take a break from what they were doing. Yin retreated to Ainu Depot while Aina went down to Liberty.
A new beginning?
Aina contacted some junkers that managed to make a false identity for her. She was now a 17 years old libertonian that just finished school. With the money she took from the Chrysanthemums, she managed to rent a place to live on planet Denver and soon, she started looking for a job. Because she knew some things about chemistry, Aina decided to try at Cryer Pharmaceuticals. There she met Mao Rinkamo, a man around 25 years old that was working for Cryer as an escort pilot. They fell in love or at least that was what Aina thought. After two years together, Mao decided to ask her to merry him. She accepted and they were engaged when...
