Bio-Stability Monitors are implanted just below the skin and are able to provide real time location tracking, monitor vital signs, even dispense small quantities of potent pharmaceuticals to personnel who are distant from medical attention. Royal Navy pilots and Royal Marines are equipped with the devices to enable enhanced search and rescue, proof of life, and battlefield fitness reports on demand. Their use allows medical personnel to triage casualties before they even physically arrive at the field hospital or sick bay.
