The Bloomington moon orbits the gas planet Hibbing. The moon consists of rock and ice with a very thin carbon dioxide atmosphere. Test drillings by Independent Mining Guild contractors, showed small amounts of silver, iron ore, bauxite and copper but not in large enough amounts to sustain a profitable mining operation.
