Discovery RP 24/7 is a role-playing server. Communication between players is essential for gameplay, and you are not recommended to play without descent knowledge of English.

Names of characters that you create must be pronouncable, free of special symbols (except faction tags), emoticons, leet terms. Do not overuse numbers and capital letters.

Since Discovery is a role-playing server, all PvP engagements should be reasonable in terms of RP. ID of the victim must be scanned prior to attack. ID status has a priority over red/white/green color on HUD.

Attacking players of level 29 and below is prohibited for everyone who reached level 30.

Intentional ramming of capital ships and dock killing is not allowed in PvP combat.

If the player engages cruise engine or docks during the PvP fight, this player is considered running; at this moment, player loses the fight and is not allowed to re-engage.

A player who was killed in a PvP fight is not allowed to re-engage using any of his/her characters within 4 hours. Characters of a player who was killed in a PvP fight must not return into the system where the fight took place within 4 hours.

Each player has a Civilian ID since the beginning of the game (ID is also a cargo beam). Civilian ID can be used until the player reaches level 40.

Players who reached level 40 must sell the Civilian ID and buy another one (faction ID, general ID or Neutral ID). ID determines role-playing status of the player. Joining server factions without having an appropriate ID is not allowed.

Following types of IDs are eligible for PvP after level 40: Freelancer ID, Military/Police IDs, Mercenary/Bounty Hunter IDs, Trader IDs, Pirate IDs, and Terrorist IDs. More details about how each ID should be used for PvP can be found in the complete version of server rules.

Trading ships carrying one of the Trader IDs cannot be killed unless they (1) carry smuggled goods and refuse to drop them, (2) refuse to pay for passage to a pirate, (3) belong to a hostile faction, or (4) when attacked by a terrorist.

Only terrorist ID that is freely available for sale is Xeno ID. Xeno ID does not allow using transports and capital ships. Other terrorist IDs are given out by server administrators.

Neutral ID owners cannot use ships other than fighters and freighters, cannot participate in PvP, and cannot be attacked. Neutral IDs are issued by server administrators.

Carrying unmounted IDs in the cargo hold and not equipping an ID is prohibited.

For purposes of the server rules, all light fighters, heavy fighters, very heavy fighters, super heavy fighters, and bombers are considered fighters; cargo ships with cargo hold less than 750 units are considered freighters; cargo ships with cargo hold more than 750 units, including liners, are considered transports; gunboats, cruisers (including destroyers and battlecruisers), battleships (including dreadnoughts) are considered capital ships.

Every player who flies a battleship must have the Battleship License item mounted. The License replaces ship's scanner and can be purchased from every planet and base that sells battleships for 250 million credits.

Each player is allowed to carry no more than 99 non-stackable items in the cargo hold, and no more than 20 same non-stackable items.

Cheating, hacking attempts, posting abusive and insulting messages in game chat (system, group, or private) is not tolerated.

Discovery Freelancer RP 24/7 server administrators are: Majk (server owner), Korrd, Kane, Fellow Hoodlum, Xoria, Virus, Del, Kuraine, Laowai, Dieter Schprokets, JihadJoe, Marburg, Cannon.
