The Puerto Rican Rift is a Neutron Star found in the west of the Puerto Rico system. It is unique in the fact that it is the only known Neutron Star with an intact planet orbiting it. It also has a visible ring system, a trait it shares with the Omega-41 Neutron Star.

The radiation levels emitting from the Neutron Star are dangerous to Smaller, less armored craft but more of a nuisance to bigger, more heavily armored spacecraft. Its remote location also means that it is rarely a problem for space travellers.

From the Neural Net:

The "Puerto Rican Rift" is a small and dense Neutron Star that has not been explored fully due to its powerful pull and strong radiation. Some say the Junkers know what caused this anomaly, but they are fearful to admit it. Avoid at all costs.
