Ramsen is a medium-sized volcanic moon orbiting around Planet Avers, slightly larger than its sibling, Cresta. Its orbit crosses the ring system of the gas giant at a great angle, resulting from frequent collisions with the ring fragments. These collisions leave permanent scars on the moon's surface, though the rings themselves are largely unaffected due to the huge difference in orbital velocities. Ripples created on the rings during impact seem to rapidly restore the relatively small hole Ramsen carves upon each pass. The intense surface activities resulting from this unique feature have significantly helped astronomers to inspect the moon's composition, but so far nothing of interest has been found.
