Riom was one of the first stations built in the Auvergne system. A light industrial facility that mainly mass-produces smaller spacecraft for the civilian market, it has seen a considerable boost in productivity as the nearby Clemont colony expanded, and it's citizens required small civilian craft to travel to the Gallic core worlds. Presently, there are concerns that the station's workforce is overcrowding its design specifications, but so far EFL has chosen not to relocate any personel to the Clemont colony.
