Wiki Editing Rules
These are the guidelines and rules that all wiki editors should follow.
General
*[[:Category:Discovery content]] only goes on new discovery content pages, not adjusted Vanilla content.
Spoilers
Integral to Discovery is that of discovering the content of the mod rather than simply being told it. There are places on this Wiki that can have "Spoiler" information. If someone wants to "spoil their discovery, then the Discovery Wiki is now the place to do it.
- Name the specific locations, but put them in the Spoiler template. ~-~- Discussion
- Do give the coordinates of bases. ~-~- Discussion
- Weapons may have their locations given. Please use the weapons templates provided:
Use the Spoiler template. ~-~- Discussion
Use Short names as ship page titles (the ones in "'s)
If it does not have a name in quotes, please use the name at the top of the info card.
Example: Gallic Cruiser should be Obstinate.
Use Version categories
Once a page has been fully updated to version 4.85 be sure to add
[[Category: V485]]
to the end so it will be easier to find articles that need to be updated in the future.
