Rogue "Tartarus" Pulse Cannon

Desperate to end their dependence on Outcast technology, the Liberty Rogues and Mollys established a joint research team to design and build a pulse cannon of their own. Reflecting the Rogues' and Mollys' need for lightning fast offensives that allow ample time to disappear before hostile reinforcements arrive, the Tartarus inflicts 20 percent more damage to shields than the Inferno, but also requires 20 percent more energy and inflicts less hull damage. The Tartarus thus cannot be fired as often as the Inferno, making it less useful in extended battles. Instead, it functions as a devastating opening salvo against shielded targets.
