The Maquis who arrived in Roussillon chose to create a base of their own, separate from the Council. Maquis scouts found a suitable asteroid within the Tarn Barrier Nebula. Located on the opposing side of the system relative to Montauban Base, the Maquis could enjoy as much privacy as they wished to in their new living space.

Caussade currently houses only a small population, all of which are directly affiliated with the Maquis. Family members that aren't integral to the cause instead reside on Toulouse.
