History

Creation

Hex-Cinq, Or Hex5 as formally known, is a AI developed by Jasmine Estelle to assist in her experiments on Montbard Base. Built using Sirian optronic components and created from the Estelle sister's ingenuity, Hex-Cinq is an intelligence capable of 'learning'- by storing information in a string on a massive database, and accessing it for relevant situations. It is still in the early stages of development, sifting and storing terrabytes of information every day, but it is only a child as of yet, not nearly possessing the full scope of information it requires to become truly omniscient.

Workforce

Hex-Cinq's first order was to clear out the hangar Jasmine uses for her experiments. As such, a drone workforce has been created by Hex to do various tasks, from towering welding drones to low-slung lifters and metal clearers. The hangar's spare metal is compressed for later use, allowing Hex-Cinq to effectively maintain the nigh-army of drones he controls.

Biography

Personality

Hex5 is cold and calculating like an intelligence should be. He has no concept of emotion, except from the human interface templates he uses to interact with people without causing too much distress.

Reasons

Jasmine never says exactly why she created Hex-Cinq. Part of the reason is to assist in her research, and part of it is the power it gives her. But inside, a fact she will tell no human being, she wants to protect her family. Hex5 is a defence mechanism, designed to protect the Estelle family to its last drone and last trick. Jasmine has also extended the same protection to others who she requires, without their knowledge. However, Jasmine's hopes for Hex-Cinq are rapidly turning dark. The sheer power of a singular consciousness corrupts her better judgement and may lead to things Jasmine would not order otherwise.
