Background
Early Life
Kristina was born on Planet Manhattan in 798 A.S.. Five years later, she was abandoned at a Catholic orphanage by her extremely absent-minded father, Mr. Kushchyenko. Eventually Kristina left the orphanage on her own before her father remembered that he had left her.
In 809 A.S. Kristina "Acid Burn" Kushchyenko was arrested and charged with crashing one thousand five hundred computer systems in one day and causing a single-day seven point drop in the New York Credit Exchange. Upon conviction, she was fined fifty thousand credits and banned from owning or operating a computer of any kind until her eighteenth birthday.
Kristina enlisted in aviation school shortly after her probation. A lack of combat acuity led to her withdrawal from the program twenty-four months later. She remained a skilled navigator, and found her way into the amateur starship racing circuit. For five years Kristina raced for enough credits to eat and slept in the beds of her mutual one-night stands.
Present Day
On her eighteenth birthday Kristina bought a computer for the first time in seven years. The net had changed dramatically since she last surfed, but she picked up quickly. Kristina had not previously had a proper education, and she spent the majority of her eighteenth through twentieth years studying Russian history for the first time.
To sustain herself Kristina works as an accountant for Synth Foods Inc., and actively penny shaves their numerous credit accounts. She is also a freelance hacker, working under the moniker "Acid Burn", and specializes in transmission decryption at a moderate fee.
Characteristics
Appearance
Kristina is a skinny, diamond-colored woman with bright blonde hair. She often wears loose sleeveless white T-shirts, tight spandex leggings, and never wears footwear of any kind. Once she attempted to wear socks but she immediately lost her balance, suggesting she may have never even worn shoes. Kristina's somewhat androgynous appearance often causes her to be mistaken for a boy.
Personality
Kristina has displayed many unusual character traits that are common of a teenager and of an eccentric genius. She is a free spirit that sometimes shows emotion by growling or howling like a dog. Kristina rarely walks in a normal fashion; she instead prefers to run with her arms flailing, crawl on the ground, roll in somersaults, or walk on her hands. She is always talking about herself and will sometimes respond with nonsensical phrases. However, there is also plenty of evidence that at her core Kristina is a joyful adolescent with an affinity for human affection.
