La Paz Depot serves as an automated storage facility for teh Hellfire Legion, which handles goods transferred to and from the surface of Planet Guadalajara. It also handles storage of surplus materials which the Legion has no direct need for, goods which are usually bartered for more useful materials by some friendly smugglers. The Facility is largely automated, with no life support on all but the commanding deck. Subsequently, it is unable to store organic goods such as food. It is manned only by a skeleton crew who oversee the maintenance of the automatic cargo loading and transfer systems.
