Malakka has been a classification problem ever since it has been discovered in 787 A.S. by an IMG expedition. It has a thick atmosphere typical for a medium-sized gas giant, but it also has a large core and actual surface, which is not typical for gas giants found in other systems. Certain valuable ores were discovered near Malakka surface, but extreme atmospheric pressure make any potential mining operations very unlikely.
