The Immortal Hunter Mark 1 was an Outcast Ranseur Dreadnought, stolen from them a hundred years or so ago. Originally christened the RedKnight, the Dreadnought was used by Salazar until it's destruction at the hands of Fleet Admiral Sir Stanley Nelson. Salazar created a second Immortal Hunter in it's image using the Phoenix Shipyards, a ship that has yet to be defeated by less than half a dozen ships.
Technology
The Immortal Hunter has a Jump Drive equipped, an engine capable of ripping a hole in space time, and falling into the Abyss to appear at the other end. It fundamentally creates a wormhole, bending space between the two points. This technology allows Salazar to escape destruction, or to get to a target quickly, but the engine requires such a huge amount of power that he can't use any weapons or the cloak for up to 10 minutes before using it.
The cloak was stolen from Macdeath, a terrorist that was created by the Daam Ka Vosh. The giant artifact is obviously a Daam Ka Vosh creation, and Salazar uses it to move out of phase, rendering the ship invisible and allowing matter to pass through it. Salazar has only used this technology against the BAF once.
