Viktoria Landser, (born March 3rd in 779) is the current leader of the Bundschuh Party and the highest ranking officer of its paramilitary wing, the Volkfront. She is most known for her efforts to reinstate the legal status of the Bundschuh Party by organized manipulation of the common people and means of force against the authorities that don’t seem to exclude the possibility of a coup d’etat . She is wanted in three different Houses and has a large but varying price on her head.

Youth

Viktoria was born on Bruchsal Base to Josef Landser and Lydia Eisenberg, two pilots of the Bundschuh. She was raised by her father Josef, as her mother died during a funding operation in Frankfurt two years after her birth. Since her father was a busy pilot as well, she was homeschooled by his Parteigenossen and indoctrinated accordingly. By the age of 15, she started her training as a Pilot of the Bunschuh, soon after her Father was fatally injured in a firefight that resulted out of an RFP ambush. After two years of flight school she passed her acceptance test for a seat in the Bundschuh’s University in Luneburg. She studied managerial economics and political science and received her diploma in the age of 24.

Career in the Bundschuh Party

As the Bundschuh had already spent large amounts of resources on Landser’s education, she was mostly assigned to the party’s book keeping and the public relations department. As a result of her engagement in the Party affairs, she was promoted into the position of a Revisor by a public vote of the Parteigenossen when she was 28. However, since her lack of experience with space born operations and contacts to the common people outside of Luneburg was well known, she decided to enlist in the Volksfront in order to improve her status in the Party and thus bringing her career forward. She survived the fallowing years without any major injuries and losses of her Genossen. As a result of her exceptional service, she was soon promoted to Kapitan. When she was offered to lead the Party in early 814, though, she was reluctant to accept as she felt to have a bigger impact on Rheinland's improvement in a cockpit rather than behind a desk. After a long phase of consideration, however, she accepted and soon began to start votes over numerous changes of the party’s affairs. Most notably the claim of southern Sigma 13 as an exclusive Bundschuh Pirating Ground and the hostility towards the grand Hispanic nations as a result. As well as the reformation of the Volksfront and further improvement of relations with the Red Hessian Army. Even though the leader of the party and thus a figure of strategic and organizational importance, she still participated in Volksfront operations thrice a week.

Reform of the Volksfront

Every member of the Bundschuh had to do a year of space born service before having to do another year of civil service on the stations. As Landser saw in this lack of specialization the main reason for few successes and high casualty rates, she decided to draw a stronger line between civil and military activities.
In 816 A.S. Landser initialized the reformation of the Volksfront and the construction of a sophisticated flight school in Luneburg . However, in order to make sure that the military wing wouldn’t become too distant to the civil structures and vice versa, she introduced a conscript service period for younger members, space service periods for civilians in low-risk operations as well as an early retirement into civil service at the age of 38 for crew ranks. Also, any VF member would have to participate in public votes and electons.

Recent Life

In the fall of 816 A.S., Landser stepped down as she became pregnant after a romantic accident with Klaus Schneider, her second in Command in the Volksfront. She gave birth to her son, Markus, in 817 on Eltmann. When she and her family attempted to relocate to Luneburg afterwards, their convoy was attacked and destroyed by Bounty Hunters. She survived the attack without major injuries but lost her only child. Her fiance Schneider survived as well but slipped into a coma without any hopes of awakening any time soon. As a result of this disaster, she tried to escape depression and sadness by drowning herself in work and alcohol like she always used to when she lost family members or friends. Since she got reinstated as Vorstand of the Bundschuh and Oberst of the Volksfront, she acts even more distant, cold, stern and dedicated than she did before. As she manages to stay on top of her daily struggle with her inner sadness over the constant losses she suffered over the years, her subordinates quietly call her the ‘Iron Heart’ of the movement.
