Early Life
Willow Holt was born on May 5, 805 AS, on Planet Jiangxi to ethnic Korean descendant Mari Choi and Bretonian refugee Samuel Holt. Due to Samuel's previous experience in starship maintenance before coming to the Coalition, her parents got assigned to dockwork on orbiting Zhukovsky Station. Growing up amongst the machines, she was set to become another mechanic laboring for the betterment of the People.
Raised by Five Guys
The poorly-maintained Triple Hazard Pay, Inc. vessel Magnificent Lunatic claimed the lives of her parents and left her injured in what incident reports referred to as a "combustion accident". When she woke up, the crew had taken her in as an adoptive daughter. The next several years of her life were spent with five career ships crew trying to be parents.
After a few years, she gained a sister, Teresa Brooks, who quickly proved herself to be very dangerous. The two of them became inseparable, though, on account of shared experiences.
Things get weird
Willow Holt was found aboard the Magnificent Lunatic, a cavalry saber in her right hand, a bar of gold in her left.

The group Willow had found herself in vanished one day. In actuality, the leadership sunk a lot of their resources into project in the middle of nowhere and dropped off the grid. This was bad because in their absence, the wolves circled. Willow assumed leadership long enough to tell everyone to go to ground, then took her own advice.
